Leona Bettis Williams, 96, of Merryville died Monday, June 14, 2021.
Survivors include her sons, Eddie Lee Williams of DeRidder, Leo Leonard Williams of Lake Charles, Obie Williams, Sr. and Patricia of DeRidder; daughters, Pennie Mitchell, Earnestine Hinton, both of Westlake, Linda Harrison of Bancroft; 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Williams; daughter, Drulie Allen; parents, Lemon and Pennie Bettis; 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral service was held Saturday, June 19, at Friendship Baptist Church in Bancroft. Pastor John Crosley officiated. Burial followed at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.
