Are you looking for a rewarding career with the opportunity to serve your community? The DeQuincy Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of entry-level Police Officer. Applicants should be of good character and demonstrate qualities of professionalism, dedication, and integrity with a desire to serve our community.

The minumum requirements are as follows: Must be 21 years of age; Must be a U.S. Citizen; Must possess a valid Driver’s License; Must possess one of the following: High School Diploma, G.E.D., Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree; Have no felony convictions; Must pass a physical examination designed to demonstrate good health and physical fitness sufficient to perform the essential duties of the position.

After submitting a completed application, applicants will be required to pass the following mandatory tests and evaluations: Background Investigation; Oral Interview; Psychological Examination; Medical Examination/Drug Screen

Applications may be requested at the DeQuincy Police Department. Completed applications can be physically turned in to DeQuincy Police Department at 101 S. Pine St. Starting salary is $13/hr. plus benefits including insurance and retirement.
