Josie Thompson, 44, died Friday, Apr. 2, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Lake Charles.
She is survived by her children, Alexis (Lexie) Ancelet and Brennan Thompson; mother, Jenny Leger; fiance, Joe Larick; and step-sister, Michelle Leger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Preston Thompson; sister, Susan Thompson; maternal grandparents, Bill and Louise Glasspool; paternal grandmother, Betty Jo Robertson; and step-father, Jim Leger.
Her funeral service was Friday, Apr. 9, at First Pentecostal Church of Lake Charles. Pastor Jeff Ralston officiated. Burial took place in Rigmaiden Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
