The DeQuincy Tigers lost the lead late in a 6-4 defeat to Northwood on Friday.
In the first inning, the Tigers got their offense started. Hadley Cooley drove in one when he doubled.
Jake Pharris took the loss for the Tigers. The righty surrendered six runs on six hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out six.
Cooley went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Tigers in hits.
