DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity took the lead late and defeated Jennings 4-3 on Saturday. The game was tied at two with DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Baileigh Kellogg singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity got things started in the first inning when Kellogg hit a solo homer.
Raeleigh Granger earned the victory in the pitcher’s circle for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. The pitcher surrendered three runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out ten.
DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity totaled four hits. Kellogg and Adah Doucet each collected multiple hits for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity.
