DeQuincy takes game against Grand Lake

Laurel Patin was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity past Grand Lake 13-9 on Saturday. Patin drove in runs on a triple in the third and a triple in the fourth.

Grand Lake scored seven runs in the fourth inning but DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity still managed to pull out the victory.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning. Katie Willis drove in one when Willis doubled.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity scored five runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a triple by Patin, a single by Bailey Mire, and a double by Hannah Jefferson.

Zoe Langley got the start for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Langley went four innings, allowing eight runs on four hits and striking out six.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity had 12 hits in the game. Patin, Jefferson, and Mire each racked up multiple hits for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Patin went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity in hits.
