Mary Lorrene Brindley, a lifelong resident of Starks, was born Mar. 28, 1941 and passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021 at the age of 79.
She is survived by her son, David Brindley; and daughter, Debbie Brandon and husband, Michael of Starks; grandchildren, Michael Shane, Erica, Shanna, Ruth, Derek, Amanda, Noble and Amelei, along with many great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Vickie Brindley.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Eric Brindley; daughter, Melissa Brindley; parents, Ned Phillips and Mattie Hyatt Phillips; siblings, Delphia Bussell, Laura McLeod and Earl Phillips.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, with the funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. The visitation and funeral service will be held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Ron Butler and Rev. Karl Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow at Doyle Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
