Kay Charlotte Shannon was born Aug. 25, 1938 in Jasper, Texas and passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021 at the age of 83.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph Franklin Shannon, Jr; sons, Joseph Franklin Shannon, III, Timothy Allen Shannon and wife, Lorraine and George Leonard Shannon and wife, Reba; grandson, Trace Shannon; brother, Keve Blacksher and wife, Judy along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
