Donald “Jon Boy” Warnell Walton, 66, a resident of DeQuincy passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda “Nadine” Walton; children, Jonathan Walton, Felisha Johnson and Christopher Johnson; grandchildren, Alston Walton, Madyson Walton, Evan Walton, Kameron Walton, Remy Mann, Brenden Deshotel, Veronica Johnson, Breanna Johnson and Ashley Johnson.
He is also survived by his mother, Vada Sternburg; brothers, Mark Pigg, Keith (Belinda) Lowe, Johnny Walton, Dorman Lowe, Randy (Phyllis) Lowe, Darnell (Patrice) Lowe, John (Evelyn) Lowe, Robert (Janet) Lowe, Joseph (April) Sternburg and Timothy Sternburg; sisters, Peggy (Merle Ray, Barbara (Chris) Henderson, Jackie Willis, Sherry (Toddy Todd, Alish Howard, Sherry Byron Winton, Kimberly Kniffen and Cheryl Pigg along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Otis Pigg; and brother, Irvin “Jack” Lowe.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, and a memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. The visitation and service will be held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
