Rev. James Lee was born in Ragley but was a life long resident of Lake Charles. He was the Pastor of Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church for 20 plus years.
Survivors include his wife, Carleen Lee; son, Michael Lee; and daughters, Belinda Cormier (Timothy), Brenda Stevens, Pamela Lee, Sheryl Cormier, Janice Gail Broussard, and raised Shaleitha Lorden; and a village of grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Lee; mother, Dorothy Woods; grandson, Daron Stevens; and great-grandson, Tyrese Manigo.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 24, at Combre Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Combre Memorial Park under the Direction of Combre Funeral Home.
