Kathryn Dolores Ashby Bell, a native and resident of DeQuincy was born Aug. 23, 1948 in DeQuincy and passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020 at the age of 72.
She is survived by her children, Latrice Coleman, Kaniesha Bell, and Darius Bell; grandchildren, Ja’Qourean, Keante’, JaCobi, JeVonyae “J B”; and great-grandchildren, MiLeek and Kaylee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bell, IV; daughter, Juwanna Ashby; and brother, Edward Coleman.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. and the funeral service will begin at 11 a. m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. A private interment will be held at Community Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
