ORDINANCE NO. 931
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MOST QUALIFIED APPLICANT FOR DISASTER DEBRIS MONITORING CONTRACT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of DeQuincy, Louisiana, the governing authority thereof, that they do hereby authorize the Mayor to enter into an Agreement with TetraTech for Disaster Debris Monitoring related to natural disasters including Hurricane Laura.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon the Mayor’s approval, or upon proper re-adoption by the Council or upon proper re-adoption by the Council as provided by the City’s Charter.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that this is a component of a public emergency as declared by the Mayor on August 25, 2020, and confirmed by Ordinance No. 927, and that this Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the Emergency Ordinance Provisions of the City’s Charter.
