Beauregard Parish Schools are now is session. Students at 4-day schools, Singer and Merryville, are in their second week of attendance. South Beauregard, a 5-day school, classes began Tuesday, Aug. 11.
Even though this school year looks and feels a little different, school buses are rolling throughout the parish. Be mindful of children who are getting on or off the bus. School zone speed limits will be enforced. And always remember that school zones are handsfree – no cell phone use while driving.
Our children are our future. Their education is important but their health and safety is of greater importance.
Let’s all do our part to keep our children looking forward to a future full of academic achievements.
