Velder Mancuso

Velder Mae Foreman Mancuso, 74, of Moss Bluff died Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at her residence.

Born in Lake Charles, she was a 1964 graduate of Marion High School, where she was on the pep squad. She moved to Westlake in 1989 and later moved to Moss Bluff in 2013. She was catholic and worked as a hairdresser at the China Doll, later joined her brother at The Stag. She also worked as a bail bondsman until 2003.

She is survived by her husband, Alphonse Mancuso Jr.of Moss Bluff; six children, Tammy Mancuso Thomas and husband David of Ragley, Angie Mancuso of Moss Bluff, Jackie Adams and husband Michael of Westlake, Leighanne Mancuso Williamson and husband Brian of Moss Bluff, Shelley Mancuso Robbins and husband Paul of Westlake, and Jack Mancuso of Moss Bluff; sister, Ann Clifton of Moss Bluff; brother, Mark Foreman and wife Mitzi of Reeves; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mavy and Gabriel Foreman Sr.; and two brothers.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday, June 13, at the Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Father Aubrey Guilbeau officiated Burial followed in Consolata Cemetery.
