Norma Joy Brack Been, 94 of Singer passed away Friday, June 12, 2020, at her home. She was born July 21, 1925, in Leesville, a daughter of the late Henry Pink and Mary Barber.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luther McVale Brack; and husband, Zerold Been; two sons, William Isaiah Brack, John Delbert Brack; and a great-grandson, Dustin Brack.
She is survived by her four children, Luther Daniel (Danny) Brack and wife Sherry of Orange, Texas, Norma Bolton and husband JW of Singer, Audrey Walton of Gurdon, Ark., and Paul David Brack and wife Cindy of Beaumont, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 28 great- great-grandchildren.
Joy was a faithful saint of God, a devoted and loving mother who gave all she could to her family and those around. She was filled with kindness and always had an encouraging word. Her hobbies were reading, working in her flower beds, observing redbirds, and playing wahoo with her grandchildren.
She was Mother to some, Maw-Maw to others, JOY to all.
A private service has been entrusted to Claybar Funeral Home with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Orange, Texas.
