John Thomas “J. T.” Perkins, Jr. a resident of DeQuincy was born Dec. 20, 1951 and passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019.
He is survived by his children, Anita Smith Bushnell and husband, Johnny of DeQuincy, Robie Smith Buxton and husband, Charles Lee of DeQuincy, John Smith and wife, Abbie of Orange, Texas, Derek Smith of DeQuincy and Eric Smith and wife, Samantha of Kinder; along with numerous grandchildren.
Cremation has been entrusted to Riley Smith Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St. DeQuincy.
