Robert Johnny Bass, 85, of Starks passed from this life on Saturday, June 29, 2019.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Wesley Bass and Larissa of Starks; sisters, Lois Lestage of Orange, Texas and Claudia Braneff of Starks; two grandsons, Chandler and Noah Bass; brother, David Glenn Wallace of Houston, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Francis Bass; parents, Bud and Myrtle Bass; brothers, Fred Bass, Floyd Bass, Frank Molander, and Tuggy Breaux; sisters, Bessie Dunham, Ella Leblanc, and Mable Wallace.
A memorial service will be held at Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks on Wednesday, July 3 at 6 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
