Page Turner Adventures to stop by library

Kenny Mikey and Riley Roam of Page Turner Adventures will be at the DeQuincy Library on Thursday, June 20, at 3 p.m. for the Summer Reading Program. Their performance will incorporate juggling, magic, and comedy while solving problems and overcoming obstacles. The programs are free and open to the public.

The Emmy Award winning team of Riley Roam and Kenny Mikey at Page Turner Adventures will use their signature Slapstick Steampunk style to turn the entire audience into the hero of sidesplitting super-sized stories when they visit the Calcasieu Parish Public Library for the Summer Reading Program!

The Page Turner Adventures will be stopping by the following branches:

Thursday, June 20, at 3 p.m. – DeQuincy Library

Friday, June 21, at 2 p.m. – Moss Bluff Library

Their show, “The Book from Outer Space,” is a hilarious cosmic adventure that gets the entire audience interacting directly with the actors and empowers the children to become better readers and writers.

The performance will incorporate juggling, magic, and comedy while solving problems and overcoming obstacles.

The programs are free and open to the public.

Kenny Mikey and Riley Roam are the Emmy award-winning creators of Page Turner Adventures, an interactive touring theater company that produces Super-Sized Stories for family audiences. They travel the world presenting shows, workshops, and author talks that transform kids into Storyologists.
