The Tigers’ kicker Kohen Cormier gave the Tigers the early lead by kicking a 20 yard field goal to put the Tigers up 3-0, but it was a short lived lead as Rosepine scored 7 straight touchdowns, to take the victory 54-10.
The Eagles racked up 373 yards offense while holding the Tigers to a 106 total offense, 70 yards rushing and 36 yards passing.
Wyatt LaVergne scored the lone touchdown late for the Tigers and Kohen Cormier added the PAT to close out the scoring for the Tigers.
Wyatt LaVergne was the leading ground gainer with 49 yards.
Ashworth had 36 yards passing on only 12 attempts. While Mikah Kerlegan had 20 yards receiving and Kaleb Hooker had 16.
Eathan Guidry was the leader on the defensive side of the ball with 6 solo and 3 assisted tackles. Wyatt LaVergne and Diron Valentine each had 2 solo tackles.
Up next for the Tigers, is a home game as the slate of District games start. Up next is the Tigers biggest district rival in the Vinton Lions. The game will be played Friday night in DeQuincy starting at 7 p.m.
