Paige Leger, Founder and Director of Academics for De Beau Microschool will be the guest speaker at the DeQuincy Rotary Club meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the DeQuincy United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 12 noon.
DeBeau Microschool has locations in DeQuincy and Moss Bluff. It is a hybrid homeschool. Instructors work individually with students in a small group setting. As a result, the student to teacher ratio is low, 5 to 1. Students work through the coursework at their own pace.
Leger is a graduate of DeQuincy High School and a long-time resident of the DeQuincy area. She is a graduate of University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a graduate from Lamar University with a Master of Education in Digital Learning and Leading. She is currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration from Purdue University Global.
