Aaron Higginbotham was born March 31, 1994, and passed away October 17, 2026, at the age of 32.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Meloney Higginbotham; sister, Candis Higginbotham-Pullard; nephew, Grayson Pullard; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Ebare; uncles, Jacky Higginbotham, Chris Higginbotham (Vickie), Jerry Higginbotham, and Shannon Bailey; aunt, Tina Mascorro (Francisco); along with numerous cousins, friends, and loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and George Bailey; and paternal grandfather, Sherrell “Boyd” Higginbotham.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Visitation will continue from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2026, at First Pentecostal Church, 230 Smith Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Pastor Carlton Jackson Jr. and Rev. Larry Talent will be officiating. Interment to follow at John C. White Cemetery, Rosepine, Louisiana.

Arrangements were entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4rth Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
