Jerry Wayne Fair was born on Sept. 30, 1958, raised in Pasadena, Texas, and passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, at the age of 67.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Connie; his daughters, Jessica Wilson (Griffin) and Jennifer Lifshutz (Jason); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Bàn, Samantha, and Michelle; and his siblings, John Fair (Delome) and Randy Fair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.J. and Frances Bonita “Tootsie” Fair, and his siblings, Frances Bonita “Junior” Sanders and J.J. “Chip” Fair.
Jerry did not want a funeral or memorial service. Instead, his final wish was for Connie and his daughters, Jessica and Jennifer, to take him back to Hawaii, one of his favorite places, and spread his ashes there. Surrounded by the water he loved so much, they will honor him together, just as he wanted.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
