Shari DeRamus was born Apr. 18, 1962, and passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the age of 64.
She leaves behind her children, Sara Benoit and husband Dillon, and Emily Parker; grandchildren, Zoey Parker, Sawyer Benoit, and Delia Benoit; sister, Donna Hines and husband Richard; brother, Dwight DeRamus Jr. and wife Tammy; her beloved fur baby, Lola; along with all of the friends she made along the way.
She was preceded in death by her son, Adam Dearmon; father, Dwight DeRamus; and mother, Margaret DeRamus.
The family received friends 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, July 31, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Bro. Mike Streams and Rev. Dwayne Hyatt officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
