Donna Ray Satterfield was born on Aug. 2, 1943, and passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the age of 82.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Poole (Steven); grandchildren, Austin Moriarty (Cara) and Abigail Sartin (Brance); great grandchildren, Lydia, Esme’, Rome, and Wade; siblings, Kathi Marks and Cal Ray, Jr. (Charlotte); special friends, Shelley Apala, Margo Thomas, and Chris Wade.
She was preceded in passing by her husband, Thomas M. Satterfield; daughter, Joy Elizabeth; parents, Cecil Calvin Ray and Martha Goff; sister, Daphine Ray Salmons.

The family will receive friends Sunday Aug. 2, from 12 p.m., until the time of the memorial service at 12:30 p.m. at Calvary Apostolic Church, 4270 Highway 12, Starks. Pastor Jeremy Shields will be officiating. A graveside will be held Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd., St. Louis, Missouri.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
