Victor Lee “Sam” Pharris, 56, resident of DeQueen, Ark., passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at his home.
He was born in Merryville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Pickering and Edith Leger Wilkins; his stepfather, Johnny Pharris; one son, Joshua Dannheim; and one brother, John Pharris.
He is survived by his wife, Marisa Pharris, of DeQueen; two sisters, Meme Hess and Jolie Pickering Perkins, both of DeQuincy; step-son, Colton Bass of DeQueen; daughter-in-law, Kristina Dannheim of College Station, Texas; one granddaughter, Ruby Dannheim of College Station, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Wilkerson Funeral Home in DeQueen, Ark.
