Jeanie Lyons Morgan was born Jan. 30, 1974, and passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the age of 52.
Jeanie was a caring and loving woman whose greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed sewing and gardening, finding happiness in creating beautiful things and nurturing those around her. Jeanie was a nail and hair technician for over 30 years before returning to spend time with her grandchildren. Family-oriented in every way, Jeanie treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought endless pride and joy to her life. She will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared so freely with those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, David Morgan; children, Lacey Shull and husband Randal Shull II, David Dean Morgan and wife Cameron, Mason Morgan, and Jenna Morgan; seven grandchildren; siblings, Alan, Joan, Gayle, and Cathy; and mother-in-law, Barbara Ellender.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Priscilla Lyons.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of the celebration of like at 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 22, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Vinton. Pastor Rob Tibbitts will be officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
