Maureen Wright was born Feb. 9, 1943, and passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the age of 83.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leonard Wright; children, Rodney Wright, Rhonda Wright, Rene’e Richard and husband James, Clayton Wright, Angela Woodley and husband Matt, Rachel Holman and husband Trent, Brian Wright, and Julie Hebert; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Gaynell Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her son, Clifton Wright; parents, Willis and Annie Guidry; sisters, Violet Guidry and Anderlane Guidry; and son-in-law, Richard Hebert.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 14, at Charity Tabernacle in Dry Creek. Rev. Trent Holman, Rev. James Richard, and Rev. Glen Anderson will be officiating. Interment to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek.
