Sylvia Ann Hebert Nichols died Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, she spent her life in Merryville.
She was a florist at Green’s Flowers in DeRidder and later worked at Walmart in Leesville.
She is survived by her son, Travis Nichols (Ashley) of Merryville; brothers, Stanley Charles Hebert and Carl Hebert, both of Merryville, Corey Melancon of Youngsville; and one grandaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Wayne Nichols; son, Dustan Nichols; father, Stanley Hebert; and mother, Barbara Ann Evans Hebert.
Funeral services were held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Friday, June 13, followed by burial at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville. Brother Roger Longoria officiated.
