Council to approve/ deny variance to allow more than one dwelling on parcel numbers 00730750 and 00730742 owned by Tim Allen.
Council to approve/ deny variance to allow Kathleen Bradshaw to put a mobile on the property at 613 Beech Street.
Council to discuss and approve/deny preliminary subdivision plan on Smith Street.
Authorize Mayor Smith to act on behalf of the City of DeQuincy to consider and take appropriate action for a Cooperative endeavor Agreement with Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and the City of DeQuincy regarding the Summer Food Program.
Adopt a Resolution ratifying the signature of Mayor Riley Smith on a Non-Warranty Deed between the DeQuincy Railroad Museum Inc and the City of DeQuincy, accepting ownership of the Railroad Museum.
Council to approve/ deny RFQ for Invitation for Architectural and Engineering Services for the new box hanger at DeQuincy Airport.
Start the condemnation process on the structure located at 202 Jackson Street.
Start the condemnation process on the structure located at 206 S Holly Street
Start the condemnation process on the structure located at 404 Velmer Street.
Proceed with the next step of the condemnation process, which is to send condemnation to the Parish Inspector, on the structure located at 208 Hall Street.
Introduce Ordinance # 992 and set a public hearing for May 12, 2025, to update and amend Chapter 18- Streets and Sidewalks and Public Places, Article ll Excavations, Sec 18-20 of the City Ordinance code.
Public hearing and adoption of Ordinance # 988 to repeal Section 11-32, Definitions of Article ll Fair Housing of the City Ordinance code.
Public hearing and adoption of Ordinance # 989 to update and amend General Zoning Ordinance, Sec 2 of the City Ordinance code.
18 Public hearing and adoption of Ordinance # 990 to update and amend General Zoning Ordinance, Sec 5A of the City Ordinance code.
Public hearing and adoption of Ordinance # 991 to amend Section 5-13, Fees, of the City Ordinance Code.
