The South Beauregard Golden Knights hosted the Loreauville Tigers in a Best of 3 Quarterfinal series this past weekend in Longville.
The Knights won game 1 on Friday night 16-0 in 5 innings .
Jace Duhon pitched all 5 innings throwing a no hitter and recorded 10 strikeouts!
Gunner Courtney went 2-2 with 1 RBI, Jed Henry went 1-4 with 2 RBIs, Bryce Deason went 1-1 with an RBI, Layden Sepulvado went 1-2 with 2 RBIs including a 3 run home run over dead center field, Clayton Folks went 1-1, Christian Wold went 1-3, and Luke Fontenot went 1-1 with 3 RBIs.
South Beau won game 2 on Saturday 6-0 with Clayton Folks pitching all 7 innings only giving up 2 hits and recording 9 strikeouts.
Gunner Courtney went 2-3, Bryce Deason went 1-2, Layden Sepulvado went 2-4 with 2 RBIs, Luke Brister went 1-2, Noah Fontenot went 1-3, and Luke Fontenot went 1-3 with an RBI.
The Knights will play Doyle in the Division 3 Non Select Semifinals on Wednesday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at McMurry Park on Field 41.
