Anita Harrison Fryar was born Aug. 25, 1960, and passed away Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at the age of 63. Anita enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved them more than anything and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Zachary Fryar; children, Montana Harrison, Cantrell Smith and husband, Eddie Jr., and Charles “Cy” Fryar; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Maddi, Laney, Lettie, Ellye, and Bladon; father, Elgie Harrison; sisters, Zelda Todd and husband, Tim, and Missy Burnett and husband, Kenny; and stepbrothers, Eric Reque and Cris Reque.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Katherine Peterson; and her best friend, Shelia Phillips.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
