Patricia “Elaine” Bass was born Sept. 26, 1959 and passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2023 at the age of 63.
She was a very loving, caring soul who had a servant’s heart and cared for many people in her lifetime. She will be missed by many as she touched many lives.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Raylen Bass; daughter, Danielle Simien and husband, Patrick of Vinton; mother, Velma Drake of Starks; sisters, Wanda Gibson and husband, Steve of Deweyville, Texas, Lorri Blanchard and husband, John of Starks; and brother, Carl Lucius and wife, Kelly of Conroe, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Richard; brother, Dale Richard; and father and mother-in-law, Ray and Tinker Bass.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, and continuing from 9-10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, with the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Starks. Pastor Ron Butler will be officiating. Interment to follow at Doyle Cemetery in Starks.
