Margaret Foster was born Aug. 19, 1946, and passed away at the age of 80.
Margaret Foster was a loving and selfless woman whose life was centered around her family and her faith. She was a God-fearing woman with a nurturing spirit and a heart that was always open to those she loved.
Margaret cherished her family and found great joy in spending time with them, especially her great-grandchildren. Those precious moments brought her tremendous happiness and created memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
She was also known for the love she put into the simple things, including making her homemade French fries and biscuits. Her cooking was more than food, it was an expression of love, warmth, and family.
Margaret’s gentle spirit, selflessness, faith, and devotion to her family touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Though she is deeply missed, her love and the beautiful memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and loved ones.
Her legacy is one of love, faith, family, and a life devoted to caring for others. She will forever be remembered and forever loved.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Foster; children, Robert “Booter” Foster and wife Sheila, Londale Foster, and Cathy Michael and husband Dale; grandchildren, Morgan Foster, Megan Foster, and Clayton Michael and wife Brittany, Brittany Pickering and husband Jordan; great-grandchildren, Kycen, Kingston, Harlow, Garrett, Owen, Jaxon, Cash, and Jasper; and siblings, Carolyn Marcantel and Sonny Brister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Eller Brister; and siblings, Pasty Frazier, Lois Parker, Roger Brister, Linda Warden, and Roma Jean Brister.
Pallbearers were Dale Michael, Bean Frazier, Hank Frazier, Blane Frazier, Shane Frazier, and Chad Treme.
A private visitation was be held from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Graveside service wasbe held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20, at Oretta Cemetery in Singer.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
