Loren Richard “Bubba” Rollo was born on Feb. 12, 1939, and passed away on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, at the age of 87.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Mae Chargois Rollo who took good care of him for over 65 years. He is also survived by two daughters, Carol Ann (Mark) Hill and Vickie Rollo; two grandsons, Jacob (Jessica) Burnitt and Chad Hill; two granddaughters, Carly (Ross) Andrus and Julie (Clay) Schall; great-grandchildren, Haily, Branson, Evie, Elliott, Judah, and Phoebe; and one sister, Syble King.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren Walter Rollo and Bessie Dubose Rollo and his daughter, Phyllis (Larry) Burnitt.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Friday Sept. 11, at Riley Smith & Sons in DeQuincy. Visitation continued on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 1:30 p.m., until the time of the funeral service at 2:30 p.m., at funeral home. Interment followed at Riley Smith Memorial Park in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
