Joanne Raquel Fairchild was born May 12, 1970, and passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, at the age of 56.
She is survived by her children, Emerald Fairchild and Hezekiah Cotlong; grandchildren, Wrenley, Richard “Junior”, and Micah; siblings, Little Edward Fairchild and wife Nadine, David Fairchild and wife Misty, and Crystal Fairchild; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Joanne Fairchild; and brother, Buddy Fairchild.
The family received friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 31, and continued from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 1, at First Pentecostal Church in Starks. Pastor Karl Smith officiated. Interment followed at St. Mary Cemetery in Starks.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
