Students are headed back to school in the surrounding areas.
Beauregard Parish students who attend Singer and South Beauregard High Schools will return to class on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Calcasieu Parish students at all four DeQuincy schools, along with those attending Starks and Vinton will be back in classrooms on Thursday, Aug. 13.
