Robert “Bobby” Lee Trahan, Jr. was born June 10, 1935, and passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the age of 91.
Bobby was a devoted cattleman who spent much of his life working the land and caring for his livestock. Bobby will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Brenda Shope, Nancy Cooper, Robert Trahan and wife Davenna, and Sheldon Trahan and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Klancy Leonard and husband Kelby, Darby Pate and husband Dalton, Codi Lynn Cooper, Katie Dupont and husband Chris, Christopher Trahan and wife Shaniqua, Justin Trahan, and Samantha Trahan; along with seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Little Trahan; and parents, Robert Trahan Sr. and Gladys Vincent Trahan.
The family would like to thank the caregivers who cared for Bobby. They would also like the thank the caregivers of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and Heart of Hospice.
Family will be having a private graveside service in honor of Bobby.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
