Yanita A. Rice was born Oct. 27, 1958, and passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the age of 67.
She is survived by her children, Joshua Willis and Cory Mornic and wife Destiny; partner, Tommy Cormier; siblings, Earline Reid and Lydia Leger and husband LeRoi; and her dog that was also her favorite child, Diva; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rice; parents, Henry and Esma Stanley; and brothers, Floyd Stanley and Raymond Stanley.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
