Area schools will be honoring the 2026 graduating seniors with special ceremonies listed below by school:
DeQuincy
The DeQuincy High School Graduation Ceremony and Senior Awards Program will be held Monday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at Rosa Hart Theater in Lake Charles.
Merryville
The Merryville High School Senior Awards Program will be held Thursday, May 14, at 10 a.m. at the Schiro Heard Gymnasium. The Graduation Commencement will be held at Thursday, May 14, at 7. p.m. in the gym.
Singer
The Singer High School Senior Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday May 6, at 10 a.m. in the auditorium. Graduation Commencement exercises will be held on Friday, May 8, at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium.
South Beauregard
The South Beauregard High School Commencement Program will be held Wednesday, May 13, at 6 p.m. at Lake Charles Event Center.
Starks
The Starks High School Baccalaureate will be held on Monday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. Commencement Exercises will be held Thursday, May 14, at 7 p.m. in the gym.
Vinton
The Vinton High School Awards Program Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m. in the boys gym. Commencement Exercises will be held Friday, May 15, at 7 p.m. in the Walker Stadium.
