Jo Ann Smith was born June 23, 1943, and passed away Sunday, Apr. 13, 2025, at the age of 81.
She is survived by her children, Sandy Hateley and husband Larry, Debbie Sammons and husband Rodney, Joni Moses and husband Terry, JoLynn Albritton and husband Rev. Greg; grandchildren, Kristin Jordan, Ashlee Haefs and husband James, Aaron Sammons and wife Stormie, Kourtney McGuire and husband David, Kevin Nevius, Joshua McGrew, Georgia Mills, Eden Mills, Emrie Albritton, Edyn Albritton and Creed Albritton; and 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Judy Parker and husband Mike, Randy Clyma and wife Jamie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry L. Smith; and siblings, Butch Clyma, Larry Clyma and June Baile.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Apr. 16, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m., at Buna United Pentecostal Church, 116 County Rd. 833, Buna Texas. Pastor Dykes will be officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Buna Texas.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
