Merryville Lady Panthers Sophomore Avery Cournoyer reached a career milestone last week on the basketball court as she earned her 2,000th career point. It was on a technical free throw. She also had career high of 40 points in the same game!
The Cournoyer name has been very familiar to many as Avery’s older sisters were also standout basketball players at Merryville and they went on to play at the collegiate level.
Congratulations to Avery on this wonderful achievement. We hope to see her continue to break records!
