Bruce Jackson was born Aug. 5, 1967, and passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, at the age of 57. Bruce enjoyed painting, drawing, and working with children. He was an animal lover, enjoyed riding horses, and he excelled in cooking and grilling. He loved God and was a faithful Christian man. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Sue Cloud; sisters, Paige Murray and husband Bubba, and Farrah Buckley; brother, Brett Cloud; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nicky Jackson; maternal grandparents, Maurice Miller and Vertie Bell Miller; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Kate Jackson.
The family received friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 23, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, in DeQuincy. Rev. Jeremy Shields officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
