2024 Christmas Events

2024 Christmas Events are told here by the DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce. They are:

Trail of Lights

DeQuincy Chamber will be joining with DeQuincy Civic Club with their Trail of Lights event. Businesses, Churches, Schools, and Residential Homes were asked to help decorate the town for the Christmas holidays.

Voting will end Dec. 15, and will be done online at www.dequincychamber.com. This will allow those that are visiting the homes during the Civic Club’s annual Parade of Homes event to vote as they ride around that night.

Winners will be announced Dec. 16, online and in the DeQuincy News.

CPKC Holiday Express Train

The City is handling the vendor booths for the CPKC Holiday Express Train Event to arrive on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 4 – 8 p.m.

Carriage Rides

Gore Family Farms is offering horse-drawn carriage rides for the remainder of the Christmas season on Friday and Saturday nights from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
