Irene Lord was born Nov. 23, 1948, and passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at the age of 75. Irene loved to travel all over the world. She enjoyed Christmas time and shopping on the internet. Irene was a master at Candy Crush Saga and puzzles. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Nolen and wife Darbi, and Cindy Churchwell; grandchildren, Brooke Hayley Bowen, Preston Nolen, and Pierce Nolen; great-grandchildren, Elijah Hogg, Aspen Hogg, Riley Gann, and Parker Gann; siblings, Milnor Weeks, Deanna Weeks, Elizabeth Jean Weeks, and Robby Weeks and wife Erika; life partner, David Ireland; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tiffany Nolen; mother, Betty Trent; and brother, Richard Weeks.
The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
