Ronald Paul Armistead, 69, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at his home. He was born and raised in Moss Bluff. He retired from Entergy after 35 years as a coal-yard operator.
Survivors include his daughters, Alayna Jones (Darren) of Singer and Miranda Vinson (Huey) of Ragley, six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Sr. and Marjorie Armistead; one sister; and one brother.
Celebration of life was held Thursday, Oct. 17, at Heritage Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Bro. Andy Buckley officiated. Burial was in the New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff.
