DeQuincy Industrial Airport hosted a free to the public air show/car show event for the community on Saturday, Sept. 28. Kyle Rainwater, Airport Manager indicated beautiful weather conditions contributed to a well attended event with approximately 30 aircraft and 30 classic cars along with several food vendors attending.
The Fall Fly-In vs Cruise In, Food Trucks and Film will be an annual event according to Rainwater.
Families gathered with their children at sunset to enjoy free popcorn and the Disney classic film, “Planes” on the big inflatable outdoor screen furnished by the City of DeQuincy.
DeQuincy Railroad Museum provided free kiddie train rides and DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce handed out free water.
