Jerry Dwayne Lee was born Mar. 27, 1964, and passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, at the age of 60. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and hunting. More than anything, he enjoyed truck driving.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Erica Kridakorn; children Jennifer Lee, Jerry Lee and wife Demornay, and Jeremy Lee; step daughter, Haley Dennis; grandchildren, Chance Henderson, Brianna Henderson, Lollie Dartez, and Justin “Bubba” Dartez; mother, Dorothy Ann Parker Lee; siblings, Sammy Parker and James Allen Lee; nieces, Desiree Parker, Veronica Morton and husband Gino, Vanessa Hext, Debra Hext, and Rebecca Hext; nephews, Dustin Freeman and wife April, and Robert Freeman and wife Shaina; along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman “Don” Lee; sister, Edith Elaine Lee Hext; spouse, Darlene Wedgman; and sister-in-law, Sassy Parker.
The family will receive friends 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
