Mary Anglin was born on Oct. 24, 1935, and passed away on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at the age of 89.
She is survived by her children, Mickey Kirk, Patricia Husband. John R. Anglin and wife, Anita Anglin, Ronald Anglin, Larry Anglin, Buffy Cline and husband, Mike Cline, Kala Anglin. and Patrice Wilkerson. She had nineteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Hollis Vivian Williams; mother, Mammie Dillie Williams; son, Hollis Lee Anglin; daughter, Vivian Lynn Jones; and great-grandson, Michael Austin Wilkerson.
Mary’s hobbies were sewing, quilting, and gardening. She like to read her Bible and do word search puzzles. Mary was very educated. While her kids were in school, she did all their homework.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
