Jonathin David Babineaux was born Jan, 21, 2001, and passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at the age of 23. Growing up, Jonathin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing washers.
He is survived by his father, Jeffery Babineaux; stepmother, Nicole Babineaux; mother, Kristin Mitchell; and stepfather, Dale; sister, Kandice Babineaux; brothers, Beau Babineaux and Hunter Babineaux; grandparents, Keith and Sheila Babineaux; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Opal Babineaux; and great-grandfathers; George Babineaux and Robert Otis Mullins.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, with the funeral service to be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 30, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment to follow at Riley Smith Memorial Park in DeQuincy.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
