Cooper Hext began playing for the State College Spikes in State College, Pennsylvania which is part of the six team MLB draft league. He’s already making a huge impact. Hext had a solo home run in the bottom of the 3rd to give the Spikes a 2-1 lead then in the bottom of the 6th. Hext hit an absolute beauty of the top of the wall to score a three RBI bases clearing double to extend the Spikes’ lead 9-1.
Hext’s fantastic performance propelled the Spikes’ 14-7 win.
